That NME list cannot possibly be serious. It's obviously an all-time greatest list, yet includes the Strokes at #7, Oasis at #13, a Spiritualized album that's not even their classic one at #17, the worst Smiths album at #25, and ANDREW W.K. at #69...
But of course no room for, say, Black Sabbath, or the Grateful Dead... It's like VH1 with amnesia.

NME's list reminds me of Rolling Stone magazine's many lists. Neglecting some true masterworks for some trendy crap. How could anyone put someone like Andrew W.K. on any 'best list'? Andrew who?

As for the actual lists, they're quite predictable, aren't they? All-time best lists are so boring.
