I have this ad (reprinted in the upcoming Inevitable Catalogue,by the way
). It is the version with out the "Come.Step softly..." wording.

I'm afraid not. I got the impression none of his stuff will do the rounds anytime soon with the (dim) possibility an official bootleg set happens.schnittstelle wrote:Did anything come out of that?Chris M wrote:I should mention that I asked the poster for a copy of his 2nd Fret master(s) in case anyone was thinking of contacting him..

Too bad, as I am very skeptic that an official bootleg set will happen anytime soon...

Interesting comment here:
I always that was a Warhol film projection. Perhaps not!The 2004 mono vinyl edition of the LP restores the original Emerson image to the cover...
BTW- The image comes from the 1966 Conrad Rooks film Chappaqua. I got a copy of it on DVD a couple years ago and when the Emerson image appeared on the TV screen, I did a freeze-frame and grabbed my copy of the VU LP. Sure enough, same image!
Cheers,
Chris
