I don't think this has been mentioned hereabouts;

Some very interesting info is coming to light there regarding what may be lurking in the vault, particularly on page 6...

Here is a link to the post in question.

That guy is legit. He's the taper of the Second Fret shows and has said that Polygram has digital copies of his tapes..

From http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showp ... tcount=110:
Wordless, She'll Make You Cry and Send Me No Letter are all Squeeze tracks.
So that leaves:
Get Together
Black Widow Blues
Diddy Wha
It's Gonna Rain Tomorrow
Sally Sex
Hmmm... anyone care to guess what these might be?
Searching would Sister Ray, and we all know they only recorded that once!It is very hard to tell anything from the printout. There is a version of "Searching" that is marked 17:25. But there are a lot of seeming mistakes in the names of songs, so I'm not sure if the times will always be correct. Some strange song titles credited to VU on these are Get Together, Black Widow Blues, Diddy Wha, It's Gonna Rain Tomorrow, Sally Sex, Wordless, She'll Make You Cry, Send Me No Letter. Maybe some of those were working titles.

Just a guess on a couple;
Black Widow Blues =Countess from Hong Kong
It's Gonna Rain Tomorrow= Hey Mr Rain

That was recorded after they'd left MGM, so Polygram wouldn't have it in their vaults[quote]
I didn't really put to much thought into it. I was just free associating what titles would work,but interestingly the PSAS booklet list Countess as being written by Lou Reed/John Cale,so It could be possible that there is an earlier Cale version of the song.
I was looking at the lost songs page on the Olandem site http://members.aol.com/olandem5/lostsong.html
and this jumped out at me as a possible for Get Together:
"Get It On Time
John Davies Cale, Lou A. Reed
John Cale Music Inc, Oakfield Avenue Music Ltd
This song was registred on April 22, 1966. That date let think it could be an outtake from the recording sessions of The Velvet Underground And Nico album. The only known version is available on a rehearsal tape recorded at the Factory on March 7, 1966, and was used for the All Tomorrow's Parties CD."
