Amazing pictures! I'd love to see how a VU glam-reunion in 1973 would have looked like! :D

I was referring to his involvement with David Bowie and riding the Ziggy/glam scene at the time. If it weren't for Bowie, he probably wouldnt have had a hit with Walk on the Wikd Side.

This is the place where she lay her head when she went to bed at night....

Taxine, I think this was probably typical clothing from Kensingston Market on Kensington High Street or King's Road. As Lou Reed visiting in London at the time, I guess he would have picked up on it and perhaps the Bowies would have taken him on a shopping trip.

A great link! I would never have guess this was the same set that produced the famous shot of Bowie, Iggy and Reed ? the one where Iggy had a T.Rex t-shirt. It used to adorn my wall as a teenager. Looking at the party shots they all wearing similar style clothes typical of that era in London - Angie, Lou and Iggy.

Wow. Always wondered who the 4th face was in this shot. Looking at that set, it suddenly hit me ? it's Tony De Fries

at least some of Lou's clothing at this time was designed by Freddi Buretti, who also designed a pile of stuff for Bowie around those times
