I thought I started one of these before, but couldn't find it. Here's one I shared with bleach. He isn't 100% sure it's Lou, so decide for yourselves!

Cool. You gotta almost feel sorry for any Verve PR people tasked with promoting that album...probably the most unmarekatable major label rock album of that decade (along with Beefheart). Way too ferocious and proto-punk for radio. Too bad there'sno recording of that show, both for VU's performance and the MC's patter, which would be interesting to hear. Significant that Verve us still playing up the association with Warhol ("Worhol" haha) as a marketing gimmick, some 8 months after Lou fired him as manager.

I always liked the Billy Name's pic,that's the single portrait,at a dimly factory.
But there are no stars in New York sky, they're all on the ground.
This is the place where she lay her head when she went to bed at night....
