The main decision I had to make when transfering the recording was whether to transfer at 24-bit and then down-convert to 16-bit, or just convert at 16-bit. After a bit of research and discussions on some audiophile forums, I decided to do it at 16-bit.

The general concensus was that there would be no noticible difference. The suggestion was made that if I was performing any filtering/editing, it couldn't hurt to transfer at 24-bit and then to 16-bit after edits are complete. Because it was not in my plans to edit, I transferred at 16-bit.

Thank you so much!!! The transfer sounds GREAT!

I do have to say, though, that I like the selections on "etc." better.

Thanks! And I agree with you about the selections.

My next conversion will be Lou in Hamburg 1977 from cassette.

Does this stilll stand Mr iaredatsun? Wicked if so...
