Re: The Matrix Tapes - COMING SOON
Perhaps, but that full listing of the history of Matrix appearances shows the Velvets appearing on that Thanksgiving and cancelling December 3rd.

Re: The Matrix Tapes - COMING SOON
Very true, but it did help monetize the purchase. Peter Abram asks decent money. That's why they ripped him off in 1974 using the copies of the acetates, and why the Doors did the same with their Matrix Tapes, releasing bootleg copies.

Re: Loaded 45th Anni box drama
I do not care for the remasters found on HDtracks, except for the last batch 1989-2000. Those were done well and is the best I've heard Ecstasy sound (although Paranoia is missing the horns, weird). Re: Loaded 45th Anni box drama
All the remasters Lou worked on are available in HD downloads on the usual sites -- HD Tracks, Pono, etc. These include all the RCA and Sire studio albums including much of the live material, but not Lou Reed Live. No physical product yet unfortunately.

Re: 3rd Album Deluxe - Bill Levenson drops a hint?
I really like the instrumental of Ride into the Sun, but the vocal version is one of my favorite pieces of music for which there is no good source. I would have loved to have seen even a cleaned up acetate on there aside from the instrumental remix. It's pretty obvious that what I'd really like, a ...

Re: second fret may 70
Am I correct in finding a gap in the "Train Round The Bend/Oh Sweet Nuthin'" medley, at about the 8:50 mark (curiously, at just about the dividing point between the two songs), or have I botched the DL of it? --Phil M. No, you're right. He seems to have uploaded this with micro gaps between all the ...

Re: Dinky Dawson Soundboards
That tape is definitely Hunter and Wagner. Maybe the dates on the tapes are mixed up. The arrangements for the Berlin songs were done with Ezrin at Morgan Studios in London that Summer with Steve Hunter. They did not exist before then. The live band was then put together to tour the album after its ...
