If that's an invitation to ask away, I'm not going to pass up on it :D Would you happen to know if "She's My Best Friend" is also the "long" version from the 22 Demos tape?

Sounds good! So if I understand correctly it's going to be Valentin mix, Closet mix, Matrix live and the unreleased 4th album, right?
I can tell you now "She´s My Best Friend" is the long version.

For those who (as me) like most the Ride Instrumental than the versions with vocals I can say that the new mix of the Instrumental version is superb!

I really like the instrumental version of Ride - one of my favourite '4th' tracks. Look forward to hearing the new one. Envious that you are getting a preview, Alfredo. When will the official announcement and full track list be made public?

I really like the instrumental of Ride into the Sun, but the vocal version is one of my favorite pieces of music for which there is no good source. I would have loved to have seen even a cleaned up acetate on there aside from the instrumental remix. It's pretty obvious that what I'd really like, a remix of the vocal version, is not possible.

Thanks for all the bits of info, Alfredo! Much appreciated.

As for "Ride into the Sun", even though I like the instrumental version, I think the What Goes On box set acetate version with vocals is the best one around, even if technically it sounds worst. But surely, if they could clean up "I Found a Reason" and "Countess of Hong Kong", then they could perform some tricks on this one as well?
Show business has always been like that, any kind. If these people didn't live intense and rather disordered lives, if their emotions didn't ride them too hard, they wouldn't be able to catch those emotions and project them across the footlights -Chandler

Let's hope so. It would appear neglectful not to include a cleaned up acetate of the vocal Ride Into The Sun on this set.

Hopefully they've been in touch with Dixigas who owns the acetates!
