interesting mp3
"Aw, You shouldn't do that. Don't you know you'll stain the carpet?"
Re: interesting mp3
There's an intro page to go with the MP3: http://www.erikbunger.com/html/var_on_reed.htmlChangeling wrote:I like it , but I like drone.
I'm sure I'll like it too (can't listen now, am at the office) as I like drones very much as well!

And there are some press clippings to go with the song too:arjan wrote:There's an intro page to go with the MP3

Unfortunately, my Swedish is a bit rusty and I can't find a decent translation site (Babelfish doesn't do Swedish).Henrik Kihlberg wrote:Det handlar om en dröm och en längtan.

(Something like "He has taken a few seconds from ["Heroin"] and processed them and stretched them out until the piece lasted over 25 minutes"

There's a little too much flutter in the stretching process, for me. It sounds like when your real audio player is buffering a stream.
Here's a similar stretching technique for Beethoven's 9th Symphony, stretched to 24 hours long - if you like drones, you'll like this:

Well, I had a listen but unfortunately I don't like it. Great concept, but poor execution. I'd like it a lot more if it had been an instrumental drone variation as the "Heeeeeerrrrooooiinnn" part really grates, and I agree with Jebus, it reminds me far too much of Winamp seizing up once again to be enjoyable. (Anyone remember that horrible Fatboy Slim ditty that used the same technique?)Changeling wrote:yup, that is what is going on.
