The Velvet Underground & Nico - A Symphony of Sound

Post by papaya »

I have a DVD from a italian label (Raro Video) The first part on the DVD is called Vinyl a film from Andy Warhol 1965, 65 min without the Velvet's. The second part called The Velvet Undetrground & Nico (A Symphony of Sound) in exelent Quality It shows the band jamming in the Factory Nico plays tambourine and Ari (Nico's son) plays at her feet.

My DVD player has not a good sound system thats why I was trying to make a Audio CD from the 65min jam session but I have not the right Software. I think it will be the longest recordet music part from the Velvet's on a CD. Can someone help?

You have to look for a DVD-audio-ripper to download from the internet. I did it a while back to get the acoustic version of Neil Young's "Greendale" onto an audio CD. It seemed to work fairly well. Give that a try and see if you can extract the audio. If you can, I'm sure many of us would be interested in getting a copy of it - I know I would.

Let us know if you have any luck.
