This is a great site for chords and notation for Velvets songs. I t gives alternate and standard tuning info.

bxsindie2003 wrote:hi velvet fans! i can't believe i didn't find this site til now, (google doesn't list this site for many pages) but im so glad i did! i'm glad theres a thriving velvet underground community out there, people who are as blown away by white light/white heat the album as i am.

i am an avid, but poor collector of their live work and bootlegs, i have max's live, the quine tapes, a lou reed anthology, live 69, and all their studio albums, and 5 concerts, the vu reunion concert, and 4 lou reed solo career concerts, including a great set on the coney island live tape, where mr. robert quine takes it to the max!

however, all i have in my collection is nothing compared to the sheer treasures i'm finding on this website, i would very desperately like to get the mono acetates, some EPI footage, and john cale stuff.

i'm not a big technology buff, and i don't know much about torrents or gmail accounts of whatnot, all i know is i don't know the account/pass to any good gmail storage, and that every torrent website i go to doesn't allow registration anymore.

any advice on how to get started? oh, and any musicians in here? i've been covering their songs, and although i'm terrible, always up for a discussion on tuning, chords and etc!

cya.
See my last post in the ultimate mono and acetates for download links for rar files for the cds. They can be extracted with winrar for windows or stuffit expander for mac.

Another way is to offer what live shows you have for trade on a webpage somewhere - that way you'll be able to trade for other vu rarities.

I'm new as well. Though does anyone by chance use Mp3s instead of rar?

joe, have a read of my last posts on the ultimate mono & acetates thread - they describe how to extract the mp3's from the compressed 'rar' file.
