hi there

can't help you with the setlist, i'm afraid, as i'm not familiar enough with the names of the john's song, but i attended yesterday's gig in winterthur which was absolutely fab, if somewhat short (no encore, despite the audience expecting to deserve some more!).

he started with venus in furs. from the new album i think he played hush, turn the lights on, outta the bag and probably a few others.

great gig in a cool club!

cheers,

matt

I'm just back from the concert in Brussels. He played (not in this exact order) Venus In Furs, Helen Of Troy, Dancing Undercover, Gideon's Bible, Paris 1919, Dirty Ass Rock 'N' Roll, Guts, Gun, Hush, Things, Outta The Bag, Turn The Lights On, Look Horizon, Perfect, Sold Motel, Leaving It Up To You, Heartbreak Hotel (encore). That's most (if not all) of them. And he was supposed to play Cable Hogue and/or Ship Of Fools (according to the setlist taped to the stage) but there was something wrong with the guitar he had to use for those songs.

EDIT: I forgot Set Me Free and Magritte.

It was absolutely awesome, by the way. Great setlist. And that guitarist he had with him was on fire (especially during Gun). I'm thinking of going again tomorrow in Antwerp.

I went to see him again (in Antwerp). Most of the setlist remained, except that he did play Ship Of Fools this time and switched Leaving It Up To You with Pablo Picasso. Encores were Gravel Road (?) and Cable Hogue.

It was even more awesome this time.
