Look for those lovely folks at Sundazed to issue a 2cd, 3lp best of Moe in September. The set will include some hard to find tracks as well as one previously unissued beauty. Eyes wide open!

If you have a sense of humour, you might like this blog thread.
If you don't have, stay away from it. Your blood pressure will rise so much that your ears will fly off.

I sometimes post on the Fall forum which has a VU thread going since 2004, 14 pages strong.
One poster called snarfyguy just posted this about Sterling using his amp in the 90s. Its a snippet of interest.

"The other guitarist in my band used to have a pro recording studio back in the late 80s - mid 90s and a double booking elsewhere (or some kind of cock-up) caused Mo to use his studio for a few sessions. This was for one of her albums that featured other Velvets, circa 1990.
Anyway, the long and short of it is that Sterling Morrison did an overdub using my guitar amp, a Peavy Twin 60 watt that's now borderline junk. I kind of want to get rid of the thing and get a new one but... Sterling Morrison played out of it!
Mo did a club gig around the same time, with Sterling guesting, at Maxwell's in Hoboken. Unfortunately I don't remember it well at all - the only thing I do recall is he played a Fender Jaguar that was painted flat black and it looked cool as f***!

Could it have been Sterling's playing that blew it up?... Sterling Morrison did an overdub using my guitar amp, a Peavy Twin 60 watt that's now borderline junk.
