Help, pls.
Anyone out there has a mp3 file of the "Bokker T" instrumental?
My copy of the Boot 45 has become damaged and the sound is quite bad. I love this song and would like to have a better source to use.
Will appreciate your help

Clearly our Alfredo has not read the filesharing disclaimer yetalfredovu wrote:Anyone out there has a mp3 file of the "Bokker T" instrumental?
Anyway, what's so special about this boot version of Booker T.? Longer running time or a different take altogether?

I read it actualy just after posting and felt baddly. Homme, feel free to delete the post.
Anyway, only special is that is just the instrumental on both channels.

You mean the WL/WH audio track? Well then, that's easy. Rip your (legal) WL/WH CD (which is allowed), delete the spoken-word channel and copy the audio track to the empty channel. Hey presto!alfredovu wrote:Anyway, only special is that is just the instrumental on both channels.

I made a CD version of the whole of WLWH with both channels playing the instrumental track on The Gift. (I had always done it with the balance knob before which was a nuisance). This has been part of my preferred version of the album for some time now. I think the album is actually better like this in the long term as generally music with spoken word does wear thin quite quickly.arjan wrote:You mean the WL/WH audio track? Well then, that's easy. The only thing I could never decide was whether I should duplicate the instrumental track on L and R or simple delete the vocal and leave one channel empty. This approach seems strangely appropriate - especially on headphones where it creates an interesting sense of imbalance!
