77 minutes

01 - Gimme Some Good Times
02 - Satellite of Love
03 - Leave Me Alone
04 - I Wanna Be Black
05 - Walk on the Wild Side
06 - Coney Island Baby
07 - Dirt

10 - Heroin

Lou Reed - guitar, vocals
Stuart Heinrich - guitar
Michael Fonfara - keyboards
Marty Fogel - saxophone
Ellard "Moose" Boles - bass
Michael Suchorsky - drums
Angela Howard, Chrissy Faith - background vocals

This is apparently an audience recording...it sounds to me like the master may have been of high quality (even mixing desk??), but this seems a few generations down? The sound is basically very good underneath the muffle, just a little boomy and resonant.

I have carried out speed correction, and minor tweaking as the bass was so loud it gave me headaches! I feel this sounds better to my ears, I did try further tweaking on some tracks but I found, like the strapline on some CD's used to say, that revealed some of the deficiencies/limitations of the original recording.

It's still among the better Lou Reed 1978 recordings, and certainly a very good performance, so enjoy.

I really appreciate Stranger09's speed correction, but he cut out some stuff...like the opening discussion between the tapers! That stuff shouldn't be cut out!!
