Well, at least one post-Lou song will make it to the First Round as Match 23 will be between Spare Change (off Final V.U.) and She'll Make You Cry (off Squeeze). But whether that song, whichever it may be, will survive the First Round...

Actually, I've got (perhaps unrealistic hopes) for Caroline, easily Squeeze's best song IMHO, to reach the First Round, but I'm not holding my breath...

I gotta admit I'd have to listen to Squeeze again to remember which song is which but as I recall I quite liked "She'll Make You Cry"...

I've had the LP for years and played it maybe two or three times. Not because I have an attitude against it (I don't) but because none of the songs had any kind of effect on me. So I think it's fair enough to say I like a well known VU song better without even doublechecking. BTW I just checked out that sample. Didn't exactly bring a flood of golden memories related to that song with it... ;)
