sister ray at Max's

Post by stooge »

well i'm new on this site and my english is poor so...
i've got a tape with some stuff of Max's rehearsals and i've got a version of sister ray (with lou's singing). i'm sure it came from Max's (same sound, Billy Yule,...). Does anyone knows about it? I'm searching for Tea Party shows as well as La Cave (got some but not so much)

hi stooge - i haven't heard any Max's versions of Sister Ray - would be interested to hear it! maybe we can trade, will 'pm' you...

I guess it could be from the stereo Max's tape recorded during their residency - it's kind of shrouded in mystery, but I did hear of its existence from a reliable source...

This wouldn't be a tape of "The Black Side Of The Street" bootleg would it? Most of that boot is from Max's, but Sister Ray is an early Lou post-vu version from 1972. See http://members.aol.com/olandem/bootlp.html
