John Cale playing rock music with a loud band and good new material. Almost
sounds too good to be true. Great song selection, performance and the recording
is pretty excellent. And the best news is you don't have to look at him - I am
not exactly a slave to fashion and generally don't care what people are wearing,
but his outfit (and it was an "outfit"), my god, it was hard to ignore. He
looked like a clown with, like, polka dotted shorts that came down to his ankles
and such. And there he was bashing out Guts. Weird. Anyway, if you are a fan of
the John Cale rock-vibe, then you will definitely dig this.
