MJG, I enjoyed your video. Nice presentation and set design. :)
It was good to be able hear your voice for the first time in all these years of knowing you through the forum.

I have a feeling that my favourite of the albums you described would be that 1976 'jazzy' one - Sweet Lou. In fact I'm downloading the full radio broadcast of it now to check it.

I was shocked at the artwork on 'Waiting For Lou'.

Thanks for watching! I'm talking in that quiet voice so my kid can't hear me and then make fun of me for trying to be an "influencer!" Yes, my set is a high budget affair, using my oldest son's room (he's away at college), coupled with my youngest son's lava lamp!

That 12/1/76 show has gotten a lot of play in my house because it sounds so damn good. That said, it just doesn't hit me like Liquid Air. Moose was practically the lead guitarist, albeit on bass, and the rumble that he generated really propelled those songs.

As for the Waiting For Lou artwork, it seems that Flashback employed the services of Brigitte Kowalczyk frequently, and that may be her worst effort!!

Great stuff MG!
Surely 'Waiting For Lou' must win the prize for worst Lou bootleg artwork, it's just horrific.
I actually rather like Lou's jazzy '76 side, it was a pleasing diversion to my ears - but i'm glad he returned to the noise side.

As for the Waiting For Lou artwork...
Lou Reed bootleg artwork, made me remembering this 2013 tribute by Peter Pontiac

... the bootlegger bootlegged...

The missing image on the page is from a 1976 Muziek Express [Dutch music magazine], see the first image at https://dangerousminds.net/comments/vin ... e_by_peter
