Alfredo. Thanks for the link! What makes you say 1968? Doesn't the seller suggest that it's an Aug 1969 gig?
(I'd much rather the idea of an unknown '68 gig, mind you!)

1969 seems to be the right year. Anyway just between the Hilltop Pop Festival and a show at the Boston Tea Party, the Velvets would have been in the area. Plus I found someone remembering the James Taylor show mentioned on the poster as "summer 1969" -- see the comments at https://www.facebook.com/JamesTaylor/po ... 2240628248.

Definitely looks like '69. Dirty John's Hot Dog Stand was around beginning in '69 as far as I can tell.
