Description
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is one in a series of straight reseeds (warts and all) that I'm doing from the pre-2007 Dime days, by request. With thanks to the original uploader, whose notes follow below.
Unlike the gig played at the same venue a month later, this one hasn't been reseeded since its first appearance here on Dime 9 years ago. It's a soundboard recording all right, but from the crude kind, so you'd better think twice before playing it at a party.
It's followed by four interview bits: the first and longer one is an interview done after the show in Houston. The other three bits are unidentified and undated. It features John and Lou Reed in a New York radio station studio. Cale mentions an upcoming tour starting at the end of February and talks about his involvement in a new record label called "Spy Records", which puts the interview in early 1977, I'd say.
