Finally transferred and circulating this. A stop on the tour supporting the "New York" album. Recorded with borrowed Sennheiser binaural mics because I needed something pretty stealthy for sitting near the sbd in orchestra seats. This was before hats with modified Schoeps, for me anyway. BCT is relatively cavernous with its 3500 capacity and those omni pattern mics were not ideal for the distance from the stage I happened to be. A little more "room" sound than I would have liked. Complete and stable, moderate crowd noise, solid overall.
I chose 44.1/24 to transfer this. It seems the best compromise between 44.1/16 and 96/24. The higher bit depth is useful for a wide dynamic range capture like this has, and editing. I've dithered it to 16 bit because I think most folks would be fine with it but the 24 bit would be offered if enough interest is expressed.
