Boo Hooray are selling /have sold a print, dated '68, for $250...

possibly one of the VU shows at the Dom in April 1966 then?

whatever, I wouldn't pay $250 for it.......

Yes, clearly that is the BTP, that's not in question. I posted it to show how different the BTP looks to the Savoy Theatre in Boston, where this photo from 1967 was taken (small cropped version below)

That long thin stage setup looks really nice. They are so (evenly) spread out - with the drum kit and the four amp stacks - like a wide-screen panorama. It reminds me of Jonathan Richman describing a gig where he walks across in front of the stage, and how he could hear the sound of the band changing as he did - in that typical synesthetic way he does.

Love the backdrops. I didn't realise they were still putting on shows like that after the EPI folded.
