Ultra rare Andy Warhol,Factory.Sreen-Test WOMEN 1964 pictures.
Gerard Malanga:
After studying the 8 x 10 inch photoprint, which I had chosen from the original footage,Andy and I thought this would be a quick way to continue as a series. The title just came to us, Screen Tests, a homage to a bygone Hollywood era... Many of these portraits were also compiled into other emerging series by Andy, most notably 13 Most Beautiful Boys,12 Most Beautiful Women and 50 Fantastics."

Amazing early vivid colour factory picture,a cool portrait of a couple of pioners with "the 13 Most Wanted Men"series behind, paked out to been installed on the exterior of the New York State Pavilion,1964 world fair at the Queens Museum,1964.
Photographed by Mario de Biasi.

I believe that is Andy Warhol, sitting in the chair. But who is that standing next to him? It looks to me like Billy Linich, but I really can't tell.
The "13 Most Wanted Men" was indeed installed at the '64 World's Fair, but was immediately deemed an outrage by Fair administrators and, before the Fair was opened to the public, swapped out for plain white (or were they Warholy silver?) panels of the same size. I believe the latters panels were left in place for the two-season duration of the Fair.

You're right Phil, but they changed out these panels with Warhol's bright silver trade mark colour. Finally Andy painted himself all the stuff.
