Re: VU Photo Thread

Curious picture of Andy and Gerald making out their magic, factory walls looks wrapped on tinfoil paper than silver painted.
Andy Warhol and Gerard Malanga screening Brillo boxes at the Factory, June 1965.
But there are no stars in New York sky, they're all on the ground.

Ah-ha...and now we know the source of one set of the pics on this:
"If anyone had a heart
They wouldn't turn around & break it
And if anyone played a part
They wouldn't turn around & fake it"
Lou Reed, 'Sweet Jane', 1970

I love that picture. Thanks for posting.
Philadelphia Story isn't listed in any of the books I have except as a reel from of ****. Was it shot in 1966?
Who's on the horse?
underground, overground
Re: VU Photo Thread
I have two eartly December1967 Village Voice ads for the premier of "****" both listing "Music by The Velvet Underground". AS far as I know it was projected in full only in Dec 15 & 16, 1967. At least 31 reels composed the original film. Jonas Mekas wrote in Jan 1970 : "...Today it is impossible to reconstruct the original film..."
Re: VU Photo Thread

Cool gang picture in a dark factory I upgraded with a bit of light out,the girl behind Ingrid and Nico looks Dorothy Dean with evil Brigid Beling seated and a gorgeous-young Mary Woronov...!!
ps:the chick next to Chuck Wein on back row looks Intercional Velvet.
