I have it from the Psychedelic Radio Spots disc as well - it's longer than what's streamed on the VU site, and far better quality. I don't remember it being in stereo, though.

Yeah, correct me if I am wrong, but the version posted on the VU site is mono? The bit of The Gift that is on there doesn't seem to have the music behind it. When I edited the track (clipped empty space off the front and back of the track), my sound editor may have split the mono into two equal channels. I am not sure if that is what yuo were referring to, but there it is!

I will need to check my tape but I was sure that the WLWH ad was in stereo. I got my source cassette in 1983, so it certainly pre-dates the various bootlegs. I'll give it a listen tonight and get back to you....

(I do remember that it started very abruptly, so the beginning was cut off.)

Damn, I must be getting senile...
I just checked, and the radio ad is, indeed, in stereo. This is clearly evident during "The Gift."
