I'm confused. Is this a longer version of the previously brief track or another track altogether. Listeing to it last night, I notice the quality is much rougher & hissier than the rest of Rosie's tracks. Help please!!

'Track 7' clarification
A while back there was much discussion of a short instrumental track Rosie had posted as many thought it was too short to be what it was reported to be. Then someone uploaded a clean version of track 7 which was longer.
I'm confused. Is this a longer version of the previously brief track or another track altogether. Listeing to it last night, I notice the quality is much rougher & hissier than the rest of Rosie's tracks. Help please!!

the cleaned up version came from the "At The Factory" bootleg. And that one was taped in the museum hall with bad sound. It´s just a bit improved. But still bad. See it as a replacement...
Rosie owns the source recording for this track but she hasn´t released this track yet. What she offered us as track 7 was more likely an excerpt from track 6.

DO NOT EXPECT HAVING TRACK #7 IN THE SHORT TERM.lostblues wrote:Rosie owns the source recording for this track but she hasn´t released this track yet. What she offered us as track 7 was more likely an excerpt from track 6.
SIMON DID A GREAT "POLISHING" JOB ON THE BOOT TRACK, AND COMPARING WITH THE ORIGINAL SOUNDS GREAT.
In retrospect it was pretty dumb of me to call it track 7, and bound to lead to confusion, but that seemed a logical name after it transpired that Rosie's 7 was only a continuation of 6.
On the ATAWM disc I think it's just called Blues Instrumental. Rosie hasn't offered it in any form.
Just to make it perfectly clear, the 5.18 Track 7 was taken from a cleaned and filtered and eq'd to hell version of the original boot, that I cooked up.
While I'm at it maybe I should point out that most of track 3 'R&B instrumental' is in fact 'I Think It's Gonna Work Out Fine' originally by Ike & Tina Turner....

I am Rosie Lee.
I am sorry you do not like my track 7. That makes me sad. I try very hard. It is all I have and I am sorry.
On a good note, our tour of Stains went very well. We raised many monies for helping animals. The Fluffernutter Devices is my band please look for us soon. You do not know me. I hate prog rock bands.
