The mono versions first appeared "officially" on the "What Goes On" Boxset on Raven Records. But not all tracks, unfortunately.

No they weren't. The following is information I obtained straight from the horses mouth at Raven in Australia;

"According to paperwork on file and notes at the time, we were supplied by PolyGram with a DAT transfer from the mono master in their tape archives.

It would seem possible that it may well have been the same 'production copy of the mono master' as mentioned in your e-mail dated 23 August, as indicated to you by one of the people involved in the 'Deluxe Edition'."

Not the "best" sounding cd version of V.U. & Nico. . . but the original 1986 cd release has the alternate single voice mix of ATP, which I believe is unique to this issue. Worth seeking out if you don't have it already.

There's what I believe is a remastered version of the alternate single voice mix on Nico's "Innocent and Vain" CD compilation - sounds awesome.
Keep the faith
