How does this pirateebay thing work? I have downloaded other torrents from other sites, but I can't seem to get the ones from here going. All I get is a Download Error box with the message: "Problem connecting to tracker - timeout exceeded."

Can anyone give me any suggestions? Has anyone successfully downloaded it from there?

I would REALLY like to get a copy of it!!!!

I use azareus to download - it uses a system called dht (i think) which means it can download even if it can't connect to the tracker.

the retinal circus is not what it claims - sounds mostly like live 69 with added cheers in between the tracks!

Yeah, don't bother downloading this one. It's all songs from Live '69 with added crowd noise and Lou talking between songs. The "this is a new song" at the beginning of "New Age" is actually from Bataclan introing "Wild Child".

Shame! I was getting rather excited at the prospect.

I am sorry, I fooled myself into thinking that it was a "new" show when it surfaced on Pirate Bay

Yeah, I guess we never stop hoping. A while back I bought a tape off of eBay that said it was VU taped in Austin, Texas in 1969. I bought it hoping against hope that it might be the "lost Vulcan tapes" that were known to exist, but were supposedly lost when the owner committed suicide. Well, after plunking down $50.00 for the tape I found out when I got it that it was just a tape of the 1969 Live vinyl LP.

My wife really let me have it for that wonderful purchase!!!

And still we all hope that something new will suddenly be found.
