Can anyone help with the question marks? (I am fairly sure about The Ronettes, but haven't got a clue on the Ypu Don't Want me, or the Al green song

i really like the look of that listing! I thought I had as much of the WPIX material as existed, but there is stuff on there i dont recognise (or maybe just dont remember...). I dont have the time/ability/broadband to download it all. Is anyone willing to send me it on 2 cds via snailmail (not even fussed about the cale stuff) and I'll trade for it? I have a lot of stuff for trade.
On a different subject, i realised why i think the VU "ended" when Lou left - it's because I'm a Lou Reed fan before I'm a VU fan....the VU just happen to be Lou's best ever backing band (from my point of view)

Good evening -
Yes, "I Can Hear Music" is The Ronettes. You can also knock the "s" off of Garland Jeffries' "Oh My Soul" (wow, that one brought back memories - it's been over 25 years since I last heard that!).

lurid_uk... you can e-mail me if you want - dsulpy at ptd dot net ;-)

By the way, didn't John Cale also appear on WPIX (where he played the "Guess I'm Falling in Love" tape for the first time)? ... is this circulating?
