This one was the most difficult choice for me yet. Femme Fatale is such an original piece - "unique" in the true sense of the word (there's no other exactly like it - or even similar). Every time I play Femme Fatale I cherish the sliding viola (? - I'm not a musician)...the piece is a masterpeice of the avante garde.
BUT, I chose Heroin because the song SO caught my attention, many years ago, and was the song that introduced me to VU. Each and every lyric and note of Heroin is tack-sharp - needle sharp, very clever - he really captured the essence of the situation.
