poor bill didn't really have a chance, did he? I like "lonesome cowboy bill" and everything, in that I won't reaqlly admit to it and only on headphones kind of way, but come on. It's Heroin. It's perfect.

It's always strange to see that at least a few people vote for songs that don't even seem like serious competition... Of course it's a valid difference of opinion. I just don't get it sometimes. Like that one where FIVE people voted for Train Round the Bend over Sweet Jane...? What if there were some sort of spontaneous VU catastrophe and a Train Round the Bend enthusiast was forced to pick which to save from permanent destruction???

Heroin; well, it is what you could call "perfect" - at least, in terms of R & R. That's "W-W-W-West & W-W-W-Weelaxashun, folks". But seweeiusswee, ha, ha - Heroin really goes in all directions from a central point...lyrical, melodious, disturbing, soothing, "real" as in - not faked-up; well, sure, it'd have to be Heroin. Classic, too. A fractal.

Wish I could take all of you with me tomorrow - I have a forced (yes, at gunpoint) field trip to the coast (dat be de Californ-i-a coast, just below Half-Moon bay, that's some South of San Fran-cees-ko) for a Marine Biology class. To observe sea lions. Bless their hearts. I could care less. 7 a.m. Hah. Yeah, right. I'm a night owl. This isn't fair, this is just not fair. I have a prescription, but, well.

i don't think this was the case. actually the single vote for lonesome cowboy was the very first vote in this competition. i don't think that the lonesome-cowboy-lovers just have the quicker reaction, i suspect somebody wants it to look like it *wasn't* as easy to vote...

Well, I just happen to be a cowboy who shoots faster than his own shadow :P

It was me who voted for LCB. All the while admitting that Heroin is a far "better" song, I gave LCB the sympathy vote because of its lovely arrangement. The lyrics are just plain silly, though. And to be honest, I don't listen to Heroin that often either.

It's my wife, and it's my life.
