So I always wondered, did John Cale make "Loop" all by himself or were the others also involved?

The flexi is credited to the Velvet Underground but on the label it says John Cale - feedback and guitar, so it leads me to believe it was one of his experimental recordings ? la New York in the Sixties that was released under the VU name. Why (and how it got past Lou) is anybody's guess.
