Velvets' most beautiful poetic lyrics

Post by Stephen Says »

What do you think? It's hard, there's so many, but my list would have to be:

Sunday Morning
Ocean
Heroin
Sweet Jane
Lady Godiva's Operation

There are so many. I agree with those, I'd add:

Candy Says
I'll Be Your Mirror
Pale Blue Eyes
I'm Set Free
The Murder Mystery (exceptional wordplay, even if the imagery is disturbing)
"For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks; the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation." - Rainer Maria Rilke

Heroin is lyrically intersting. White Light/ White Heat blends the lyrics with the music well.
