Foggy Notion lone riff at the beggining?

Post by discoscrudos »

I'm listening to the vinyl edition of "VU" and as i flipped to side B I have noticed for the first time a tiny lead guitar riff at the begining of Foggy Notion (well, like 3-4 seconds before the song starts, actually) like a not intended arrangement which they liked to leave as is at the begining of the B side. Does this appear in other versions?

No. This is the only place to listen to this little piece. Any other CD edition does not use it.
From top of my head there were some sources (Doug?) saying that this was not intended to be on the song, that was just that, a few warm-up chords played by (Sterl?), probably not even for the song. Again, this is from top of my head...

I still miss it when palying cd-mp3 "Foggy"

Actually, the cassette version of "VU" also has it.
