Only 10 minutes in and, already, this is a very nice interview. Insightful. Cale very articulate as always - and this seems to cover so much ground - from arriving in NY onwards. 50+ minutes. Thank-you for the link.

It gets better and better as it goes. You can see his mind seemingly wandering from this to that, and then he suddenly zaps some brilliant one-liner.
He also takes a dig at Lou about him trying to live with them for a week on Ludlow St but quickly retreating back to Long Island

there's an interview with Norman Dolph in this series too, from 2001, haven't watched yet, but will be keeping an eye on this channel

Very clear memories from a straight forward guy. Revealing of the scene, the band's work ethic, and the recording process ... The possibility of Warhol's cassette tape documentation of the sessions being right there in the archive, is tantalising.
