Expecting mine on Monday, looking forward to it.
Do we know who "The Modern Printer" was? Was it Jonathan Richman?

I only just heard about the book today, so it will be a while before i get it. My assumption is that whoever the Modern Printer is will remain unknown as far as this forum is concerned - for me it makes sense that it would be JR, we know he was there hanging out with them at the BTP and that he probably was at all these gigs...

Looks fantastic
They captured Cales last show! If only the tapes of that would finally surface

Do we know who the photographers are?

This looks absolutely amazing. Is this book still available? Where can it be ordered?

Looks great and since Phil Millstein is involved i assume this is what became of Norton's botched project. Praying she didnt get her hands on La Cave material so it won't rot with her

Hardcover book of 325 photos of the VU at the BTP shot by "the Modern Printer" (rhymes with Modern Lover), published by Alfredo Garcia, "presented" by Sir Phil Milstein, and with a sweet foreword by Steve Nelson.
90€

Fascinating! I have known Jonathan for 35 years, and, I'm a pretty serious photographer! In our many talks about "The VU Days", he has never mentioned anything about his taking photos of the shows he attended...or shown any interest in the many cameras laying around the house. Who knows? I'll see him in March, and promise to ask.
