Bill Allerton's cassettes - update

I was talking to someone who knew Bill back in the day and he told me that Bill was an avid taper of the shows he saw. So, bearing in mind the obvious vintage of these cassettes, it seems likely to me that these are actually his master recordings of these shows.

To quote: "Bill was a prolific taper. He had a deck and a little torch to check spooling. We used to call him ‘Torchy Boy’".
