You might even be able to just use the Network feature in the Developer Tools area of your browser (shows all calls that the browser makes from a web page).

Recording your screen is a guaranteed solution, but you need a fast PC and probably a good graphics card. I'm sure plenty of geeks out there would be happy to do it for a fee or even for free. One crowd who would be good to proposition would be fans of the original versions of the original Star Wars trilogy.
