The Velvets's Banana logo is so special -- not only inherently beautiful, but also financially lucrative -- that the VU wound up suing Andy Warhol's corporate legacy over its use. The case went to trial in 2012, with the plaintiff's claim denied on grounds of failure to present a "justiciable controversy."
