I ain't gonna bite on this one.

There are probably a dozen other projects I'd be more interested in.

Was personally hoping for a Take No Prisoners Box with every Bottom Line show as well as unreleased material from The Blue Mask and Legendary Hearts

First box to arrive since he passed away. Is this a sign?

Putting rough takes on it seems usual for a Lou Reed re-issue, too.

I'm guessing that Lou fans by and large don't want a New York set.

Lou fans want a complete RnR Animal box set with the complete show remastered...expanded TNP...actually, any of the 70's LPs deserves its own box set! What's next? A Mistrial collectors edition with additional rapping Lou?

Judging by another forum, I'd say fans do want this set. New York remains hugely popular amongst mid-to-late-period Lou fans. It's serious thematically and it is grown-up rock seems to be the analysis.

I suppose I could be wrong...and doing a bit of projecting. :P

At this point I'm happy with any release but would be disappointed if the next release isn't a 70's LP or The Blue Mask with demos/live shows

Hope the DVD 'll be available separately. Usually, I'm only interested in 1960-74 material.
