I do not know what I did wrong? [/img] I copied link then tried the add HTML link. I keep getting the img in parenthesis but no photo!

PS. You need to use the IMG tag, not the HTML link tag. Click the image icon and then paste it in. Also preview helps to see if you got it right.

This was made in 1986. And called 'VELVET UNDERGROUND'. I'm not sure why.

I had one of those also! It was about a $30 item. There was another Velvet Underground Swatch with a different face and lace covering the watchband.For some reason those sold for about $1500.00! must have been more rare!

I didn't have one. I thought there was another colour as you say, but could not find it. Maybe one for women and one for men? That's quite a price. I think the watches were an early example of commercial ltd edition fashion items

I click again and I have following options: image link image url then full image HTML that BB code then full image linked BB code then thumbnail image BB code then no matter which one I copy, when I go to my post and click the "insert image box" all that copies is {img} {img) is all that shows in the post.

ALSO....The image I dl to my laptop have a jfif tag and they are on my pc but when I try to upload they do not show in the folder. I renamed to jpg from jfif ending and then I was able to upload to my account. They show in my imagr account.

The way I did it was to go to the image hosting page where the image is showing, and right click on the image.
- Choose from the menu 'Copy Image Location' (it might be something different, depending on which browser you are using, but it will be something like that, or 'Image Address'.
- Go to the message board window where you are typing the message, and 'paste' the link you have just copied. Then, put [ img] before it, and [ /img] after it, deleting the space after each of the [
It should look like: [ img]https://i.ibb.co/VW0Cpb5/b86258a71813b7 ... 17d7f5.jpg[ /img] (again, without the spaces after the opening brackets, which I have just put in so that it displays here.)

I have often wondered whether that 80s Swatch was a stab at a Warhol-esque design without paying for it / licensing it properly! It looks a little like his 60s screen printed flowers but with a 'veil' design over the top.

Ok,I copied assorted links and when I clicked the image box on this website only the 2 image boxes showed. I right clicked on each image in my imagur account and pasted it between the 2 imgs in brackets...I hope it works this time. These are images of the expensive VU swatches.
Update I did exactly what you did.....no luck. This is showing before I submit: update 2 2nd edit. My links look exactly like yours but one address is https://ibb.co/RQQTRsF and I also had a 2nd image address. I right clicked image on my imagur account and copied link address. I'm feeling so stupid!
