Likewise, the Fully Loaded version of "New Age" is marked "long version," yet is shorter (by 11 seconds) than on the original release. So in what way are these shorter versions "full-length" and "long"?
Both Fully Loaded and PSAS have a 5:10 version of "New Age". That's around 30s longer than the original album version. I cannot see any version that is actually shorter than the original.
Yes, "Rock and Roll" is the same length and I can only think someone got confused when they added "full-length version" to it on the Fully Loaded tracklist, as that is the description they had used for "New Age" on the PSAS tracklisting.
Original version (as per the Loaded Super Deluxe version): 4m 41s
PS&S version (also the 'Full Length' version on the Super Deluxe): 4m 43s - couple of extra bars of guitar chords at 3m 23s
5:1 downmix: 4m 49s - bit more at the end of the solo around 2m 29s, also the same extra bars mentioned above, and a longer fadeout
I don't know where that info derives from, but as we know listed timings in the pre-digital era were often inaccurate, and the only way to know for certain is by timing a track personally. Now where did I put my stopwatch ... ?

Instead of a stop-watch, I just found a vinyl rip of the 1st press online and New Age is 4:40. Presume the track-list on the album cover was written before they did an edit on the song for the final master. That might also explain why the longer version used later on Fully Loaded and PSAS was 5' 20".
The track time on the first (Warners) CD version was 4:40.

So are you saying that even thought the times are almost the same, there are two versions/edits of the same track?
Diving into this Loaded business even further, I wonder if anyone has the DVD from the Re-Loaded 45th anniversary edition. By "has," I mean "can supply me with in some fashion."

Do you mean the stereo mix-down of the DVD audio, by any chance?
