Where have you seen them?

I can only find mention on this Greek site:

It's not listed on the Abbey Road half-speed webpage, but it could be out-of-date.

In my experience the AR 1/2 speeds are not always great. (i.e Faust s/t). But I would be interested if it were true.

They are listed as Republic Records which is a UMG subsidiary.

Maybe Abbey Road are slow to update their site? However you are probably right to be cautious.

I've fired off a few emails to people who claim to have it or are selling it, to see what response I get.

The thing that makes me suspicious is that most copies are coming from different entities in Greece. Why would they have them for sale before almost anyone else?

At the risk of over-posting to this thread, I'll add this - a reply from the person who created the discogs entry for the vu&n (and the other two albums).

'The album is 100% genuine and disributed via Universal Greece along 2 more VU albums.
My copy is sealed so i can't provide the info that you ask.'

I was told by someone at UMG that they are using a Dutch pressing plant now. I would have thought that it will arrive in the Uk and other places soon. I can get some real information from UMG when they go back to work after the New Year.
