Nico TV '75

Post by Sheila Klein »

I had no idea Nico'd ever appeared on England's live-in-studio Old Grey Whistle Test. But, sure 'nuff, here she is in a prime phase of her career, playing two songs from The End. Her segment starts a bit after 19:30 into the show; alas, you have to endure Whisperin' Bob to get to Nico:

Thanks! Brilliant!

The two tracks are on the 2012 remastered 2CD reissue of The End.
But never thought it possible to see Nico playing these songs in such good quality.

Would this be the track played by the BBC in "The Man Who Recorded America: Jac Holzman's Elektra Records"?

I thought it odd at the time (2010) because it was released on Reprise.
