I hope this hasn't been answered yet, but is there going to be a vinyl release of this? and since my collection is packed still, was there a vinyl release of the VU/Nico 45th Anniversary release? thanks

Thanks for the heads up David, just ordered mine for the great price of 35 quid.
Yes, thanks. I just followed a link from my wish list in Amazon UK and my basket showed 51,99GBP with 3.50 GBP s&h. I cancelled and checked Amazon US and they wanted $84.99 plus s&h. I went into Amazon UK again and put the Super deluxe back in basket and now it was 46.99GBP and the 3.50GBP s&h this time so I bought it and will just have to wait a few days later for it to arrive. Amazon UK needs to get their shit together; 8-) NOW that I have bought my copy. Wish I had seen it when it was 35.00GBP! 8-)

Yes and yes. The 3rd will be a single LP disk of the Valentin. VU&N LP was pressed in UK by GZ-VINYL, packed in harsh paper inner sleeves. so watch out for paper scuff-induced crackles. Snap, crackle and pop. Shame on you, UMG.

According to Amazon's pre-order guarantee, Amazon UK will need to honor the price of 35 pounds to anyone who ordered it prior to the price drop (which, unfortunately does not include me).

Two more tracks from the Matrix tapes have surfaced online:

Will receive my box set today. But I am really wondering about the content. Actually non of the extra tracks are related directly to the 3rd album.
(Of course I am curious about he new/old mixes of the "lost" album and the Matrix recordings)

There is at least one different take of "Some Kinda Love", the "two guitar version". I have it on one of the old Afterhours Cassette Tapes. Why is that one missing? It's so great....

I think that's the take on the Valentin mix of the album, so it is on there.

Well, then it apparently wasn't included on the VV mix that I have on record since 30 years. I hope you're right, will check this later today when my copy arrives

Would that happen to be the German CD from 1986? According to Olivier's site that is a hybrid of VV mix and closet mix, with the tracks from side 1 of the album being closet mix and the rest VV.

Afterhours lists the version of Some Kinda Love as being from the remixed version of the album. This implies the take on Closet mix rather than VV. Assuming it's not a 3rd take.
