Gordon,

Early morning here, and I'm listening to the recording. Very beautiful, I'm thrilled to have this now. I'm glad it exists. - a lot more interesting and fun than the released performance, I think. A lot more Velvets, of course.
I saw Tom Verlaine and Jimmy Ripp do a similar "performance" at St. Anne's in Brooklyn to silent movies at Brooklyn a few years back. I have a recording of that recording. Would you be interested in it?
Thanks again,
Scott

sorry for the sloppy writing, I just woke up. The recording of the Verlaine/Ripp performance is excellent sound quality. Very well behaved audience (I was there).
Gotta say again how great this Velvets minus Lou performance is. It's playing as I write. The sound quality is not bad, I'd grade it VG.
Now I gotta go to work. Talk to you later.

There's a pretty decent recording of Sterling playing guitar with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic Orchestra in late 94(?). It's about 20mins or so. Sterling does some of his classic noodling. This may be his last public performance. I'll check my discs and come back a bit more info.

It's actually from February 94 so well before Kiss/Eat.

hi Scott, I found the 12/92 Reed/Cale/Morrison tape but my copy has a serious wow/flutter problem. I'll try to get a better copy.

I'll be away from home for a few days, but when I get back I'll upload the 1992 Radio Bavaria interview with Sterling and also an interview with him broadcast by the BBC World Service in June 1993. If I can find a "clean" copy of the 12/92 tape I'll include that as well.....
