R: Artwork for the Ostrich tribute album

Post by velvetfan »

Help, A while back, I got a copy of the "Ostrich tribute album" (asst. bands do their version of the Ostrich) from someone and the artwork is in a pdf file. I converted my mp3 files to flac and burned a disc for my car. When I went into a label program to print artwork for jewelcase, the label programs won't open pdf files. I also can't copy the art from the pdf to make copies in another folder. When I try to save to clipboard to paste elsewhere, it won't work. Is there a way to convert pdf files to jpeg? The pdf file is one file but actually 4 pages of art in the file. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks

Open them them in PhotoShop, copy to a new PS document and save as .JPEG, .PNG or whatever....

Or if you don't have Photoshop, just google PDF to JPEG and use one of the many free downloads to convert. I recently had to convert some Microsoft Office files to PDF and it worked like a charm.

Thanks everyone. "Bleach" contacted me direct and we resolved, or should I say he resolved my dilema. I had many art/photo programs but the ones that would let me open a pdf file would only show the 1st of 4 images in the pdf file. I still don't know how he did it, but "Bleach" was able to split the 4 images into 4 jpegs and sent them back to me in an email where I was able to insert them into my label program. I even thought it would be 1 jpeg with all 4 images which I would have to edit by cropping out the excess but he sent all 4 as separate files! Cheers to you sir and all else who helped. Thanks Rick Rod
