Hey ,nice and rare picture,it would be any chance from you to scanning more of the booklet, and thaks for sharing it.
Talking about artwork, any idea about where this VU performance from the cover picture of the Dream Factory set was took?

My first guessing as,Nico is totally dressed in white, was ''Scott Hall, Rutgers University, New Jersey,March 9, 1966''becuse of Sterling's quote -"At Rutger's we were all dressed entirely in white. The effect, with all the films and lights projected on us, was invisibility.", but recently discovered ,or even all dressed in black, was a trade mark from all Up Tight-Epi shows
influenced by Cale's from his earlier La Monte Young's performances,so the end of true is that I got any clue or idea about the picture, any help about this beautiful still ??

Looks to me like she has a print shirt on, and Sterl/Cale (whoever has the bass) has dark pants.taxine wrote:My first guessing as,Nico is totally dressed in white, was ''Scott Hall, Rutgers University, New Jersey,March 9, 1966''becuse of Sterling's quote -"At Rutger's we were all dressed entirely in white. Re: Velvet's Genuine Bootleg Series
I just had problems with the new SP3 update for windows and had to roll it back and uninstall, but....here is a link to the Symphony of sound group page that has the scans up of the booklet. If you are not a member of that group, contact me direct and I will email the scans. Or if somebody has a better site to display photos, I'm open to suggestions. Re: Velvet's Genuine Bootleg Series
I don't know if someone else has noticed but some of the (supposedly) Quine's outtakes on disc 3 may be not that 'new'...
Track 7 "Heroin" seems to be actually an audience recording version of the track available as bonus on the official "1969 Velvet Underground Live" CD Volume 1. Moreover despite it's credited as a rehearsal track, you can hear applause at the end.
Also track 16, the instrumental "White Light/White Heat" seems to be edited from an audience recording version of the track available on "1969 Velvet Underground Live" album. The version on "Dispatches" begins around 1:50 on the "1969 Live". So the 'unknown location' is probably The Matrix.

I got mine thru' the post this morning. I've not had chance to listen to it yet but I will today. I got it from the guy who was listing on eBay as an off site sale, always a bit risky I know but I'm a trusting sort. Thanks to whoever it was who sent me the link.
