The Universal Masters Millenium collection has the swan mix of Sister Ray:

What I'd really like to get hold of is the MFSL remaster of White Light/White Heat....................!

If you don't mind Ebay, there's one up for auction now.

There was another one recently (wasn't cheap though I don't think), so they are out there.

The ones that are available second-hand on Amazon at the moment start at US$86.00 and go up to US$119.00!

hi all,
yeah, i have the SR swan mix but was wondering if the whole album was done like that. the MFSL mix *is* great, isn't it? and i think i'm gonna make a play for the ebay piece (found it yesterday; couldn't remember the name of the swan cover album).

thanks for your help, everyone!

cheers.

I'm know it's been said before in these pages but these aren't different mixes - they have been mastered differently. I do want to hear the MFSL WLWH though, as they're said to be uncompressed mastering jobs. I just saw one place asking $450 for it and haven't seen it for under $100!

Is there any place to get illegal FLACs of the MFSL version?
